My wife and I bought this kayak and we couldn't be happier. One time we lost air in a side pontoon but it was due to our fault of not properly securing the valve. We are looking for a 2nd for when the kids come to visit. I don't think it would be good for scraping over rocks but don't know.

We have been floating down our local river for 26 years and typically have used rafts (Sevylor brand, for example). We do not white water raft. The trip we take is a 3 to 4 hour relaxing float - eating, drinking, and swimming. We have always got at least 7 or 8 years of use out of any raft we purchased. This summer, my husband and I decided to buy this inflatable kayak for the two of us and on the second trip, both side chambers lost all of their air and we ended up having to turn the kayak upside down and float on the bottom of it to make it to our car. Do not buy this kayak.
