No, I would not recommend this to a friend
It's fast and fun for about 20 minutes. Does not go the 8 mile distance or 40 minutes ride time as they claim. More like 3 mile max. Other than that, everything else is cool and works well on it.

This is a good scooter. it can take me to my freinds house 2-3 miles away from my house. I bring my charger to charge it there to make sure i make it back home.
